Details for 2020 Event

This year’s fabulous Spring Energy Event will be held again at the lovely and popular Wyndham, located in Florham Park, NJ. (This is near Morristown, and a quick cab ride from Newark International Airport. Rideshares may be available; there is a pinned post on the Spring Energy Event community FaceBook page to request help with transportation, roommates and such.)

DIRECTIONS to Join Us for 2020 Spring Energy Event:

      1. REGISTER. (just $88 via PayPal; PayPal button below.  This covers your reservation for event administrative costs. Hotel charges for the discounted weekend meeting room rentals, lodging and sumptuous foods are at cost, and below:
      2. Decide whether you will room alone or room with a friend, or make it a party with more than one roomie! (single room, shared room, etc.) The venue hotel has packaged the weekend into one discount package (see below for breakouts.)  Note that the hotel venue charges for the rental location at discounted prices, direct, based upon your arrival/departure, and room needs.
      3. Stand by for your email from our Admin Manager Lorie Leone; she’ll send you our S.E.E. group code to contact the hotel group concierge to reserve room type of your choice. (see below)
      4. Reserve your room using the information Lorie sends you with the reservation concierge. (The venue package prices are broken out below.) Simply let the concierge know your name, email, roommate if any and when you’re arriving/departing.

    Event Pricing (after General Registration is complete/paid, similar to all the other years; remember, the registration goes to SEE, and all else is direct, discounted costs of the venue that goes to the hotel directly:)

    Event venue/Lodging/Meals also remains similar to past years.

    The venue hotel bundles the ballroom rental, meeting spaces, labor, EQ and food with discounted hotel rooms, for our event weekend. Here’s the weekend rental package, with Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon lodging, 6 meals, sumptuous all-day snacks & beverages:

    Weekender Retreat Package/Single Room (1 person/room, Fri-Sat-Sun afternoon, lodging, food, snacks) $530 + NJ taxes

    Weekender Retreat Package/Double Room (2pp/room, Fri-Sat-Sun afternoon, lodging, food, snacks) $405 + NJ taxes

    If staying with us at the hotel for the weekend retreat is impossible for some reason…the hotel has firm corporate event pricing, which we cannot change, but here is what we’ve negotiated:

    DayTrippers can come to the Friday afternoon, Saturday & Saturday night, Sunday  or Monday workshop event programs, with reservations.

    Your DayTripper reservation comes with a fantastic lunch and bountiful snacks, coffees, etc. all included, is $115/per day, plus NJ tax. (That means breakfast and supper are NOT in the package, but you may purchase them separately from your waiter if you choose to join us for those events; please be kind and let us know as early as you do, that this will be something you want.)


    Once you’re registered you’ll receive an email with the room bloc codes and reservation concierge phone number to choose your type of room, arrival/departure, etc.


    After General Registration, Lorie will email you with the reservation code and procedure so you can reserve your room type and arrival/departure dates (April 24, 25, 26, and 27 if you are staying for the optional Monday workshop).

    Jondi has to collect the DayTripper money for this separately to give to the hotel by early March, so reserve your seats for that using the PayPal button below:

                   DAILY ITINERARY BREAK-OUT:

    SEE Day One/April 24  Friday afternoon/evening

    Begins at 3, sampler tables open, visitation, supper around 6 and a program 7-9pm.

    SEE Day Two/April 25  Saturday Day & Night

    Begins at 9, Program, lunch, mingle, supper, and evening program sampler tables open, visitation, supper around 6 and a program 7:30-9pm.

    SEE Day Three/April 26  Sunday Day – 900am – 430pm

    Begins at 9, Program, lunch, and afternoon program.  If you don’t have to leave, enjoy great company with your colleagues in the local pub onsite, or plentiful restaurants in nearby Madison.

    And always… the Traditional, Optional Workshop on Monday, 4/27:   $125 for the day, 10-3. This is paid separately to Jondi via PayPal; please specify it is for the Monday workshop in the PayPal payment comments box.  (If you need to bring a cash or money-order to the class, simply let Jondi know in advance; all are welcome.)
