Traditional Monday Workshop with surprise Rwandan Guest Moves to Sept. 9th, NYC

Monday, April 24, our traditional workshop series has been moved to September 9th, where an entire day will be devoted to Humanitarian Outreach, Emotional First-Aid & Rapid Regulation Mentoring, Inspiration and Training!

This year, we welcome from Rwanda our friend Placide NKubito, Peaceful Heart foundation’s first trainer, based in Kigali, Rwanda. A veteran of not only trauma survival and recovery himself, Placide has been a Social Worker, involved with various foundations, initiatives and programs for years, serving diverse populations that include trauma survivors, children of war, the incarcerated and refugees.  This year’s workshop will be a full day, in the NYC area, and hosted by Gene Monterastelli and Jondi Whitis.  Mark your calendars now for this unique event as we welcome Placide to the US for the first time!

We’ll be presenting an interactive, experiential and hands-on day together. What do we really need to know?  How do we truly meet people where they are?   Here’s a recent conversation, to kick things off: https://youtu.be/8KtFiBLFHZA

AND WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?

How do we learn to hold one another in safe, present space?  How do we quickly regulate, before we help another?

How do we pass on the gifts given to us in a way they an be honored, respected, used and enjoyed?  How do we discern what is ours to do?!

Mark your calendars now to join us September 9th in NYC.
